Disassembling the LCD from the touchscreen on Chinese smartphones
How to Remove the Touchscreen Glass from an Oukitel or Nomu LCD
Tutorial: Replacing the Screen on an Oukitel or Nomu
Prerequisites
To begin the repair, you’ll need to purchase the necessary tools. You can order all the necessary supplies from our Discountmymobile online store and get a repair kit at a low price. This kit includes several tools: a screwdriver, a suction cup, a spatula, and a pair of pliers. If you already have all the necessary supplies, just order the touchscreen glass from our store.
You’ll save a lot of money—a repair shop will charge you for labor and sometimes for the cost of parts and tools at a higher price. This way, you’ll save nearly 50 euros!

Disassembling your smartphone
To avoid damaging your Oukitel or Nomu, turn it off before you start repairing the screen.
Start by removing the back cover of your Oukitel.
Next, remove the battery and SIM card from your device. Todo this, you’ll need the pry tool included in the repair kit.
Next, use the screwdriver to remove the screws one by one, then carefully lift off the cover surrounding your Oukitel using the pry tool. Next, gently pull out the flex cable using the pry tool. This is a wide, orange-colored cable located at the top of your Oukitel; it’s easy to spot.

Removing the Glass
To remove the glass, heat the edges of your Oukitel with a hair dryer for about 5 minutes to soften the adhesive, or use a machine designed for this purpose.
Next, use the spatula to carefully peel off the screen. You can also use the suction cup to help remove the glass. Be careful, however, not to apply too much force with the suction cup, or you might damage your smartphone! It would be a shame to break it even more!
Before installing the new screen, remove the protective film from the screen and use a microfiber cloth—such as one used for eyeglasses—to remove any dust that may be on it.
Next, simply place the new screen in position and use the positioning tape provided in the tool kit to secure it in the same way the old screen was installed. Press firmly on your smartphone’s screen to ensure the adhesive on the tape bonds properly.
Reassembly
Start by reconnecting the flex cable, then replace the cover that served as the back shell. Next, use your screwdriver to reinsert the screws.
Finally, reinsert the battery and SIM card into their slots and replace the back cover of your device. If everything works properly, then the repair is a success!
