The Chinese Blackview A30 smartphone, or the iPhone X for less than 100€
The Blackview A30 doesn’t claim to be as powerful asthe iPhone X, but at 12 times cheaper, it aims to copy some of its features: in fact, the brand itself bills it as a low-costiPhone X clone. It features theiPhone X’s design, complete with the notch at the top and a fairly slim profile—in short, aniPhone X clone. It also includes a budget version of Apple’s Face ID, allowing you to unlock your smartphone via facial recognition.
The Blackview A30: More Than Decent Specs
In terms of specs, the Blackview A30 offers more than decent specs for an €80 smartphone. It doesn’t match the performance ofthe iPhone X (which is to be expected at this price), but it’s totally decent for the current price! The Blackview A30 features a 5.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1132 x 540 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio. This is more than enough for watching YouTube videos or everyday use—exactly what you’d expect from a smartphone in this price range!
In terms of performance, the device is equipped with a quad-core MTK6580A SoC (clocked at 1.3 GHz) with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. For the camera, it features an 8-megapixel main sensor on the back and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone comes with a 2,500 mAh battery, enough to last a typical day, and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo, one of the latest versions of Android. A major plus is that the Blackview A30 doesn’t overheat, though its performance isn’t geared toward gaming. For €80, it’s sure to last a while!
As aniPhone X clone, the Blackview A30 clearly does the job—it offers excellent value for the price, and we highly recommend it.
