Are the Chinese Umidigi Z1 and Z1 Pro phones the best of the best?
The Chinese smartphone brand Umidigi has announced its two new flagship models: the Z1 and the Z1 Pro. They offer some very impressive features for smartphones priced at around 200 euros—and even less at the Discountmymobile online store.
In terms of specs, both smartphones feature a MediaTek Helio P20 SoC clocked at 2.3 GHz, backed by 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, expandable via microSD up to 256 GB. That’s more than enough to install all your games and run them without any issues. Compatible with all games on the Play Store, you’ll be able to play PUBG and Brawl Stars in HD on your Chinese smartphone. All free games in full HD at 50 fps are right at your fingertips. Why pass them up?
They feature a 5.5-inch Gorilla Glass 4 display— AMOLED for the Z1 Pro and LCD for the Z1. It’s incredible to find such beautiful LCD screens in this price range! As for the camera, there’s a very good 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front-facing camera, perfect for taking high-quality photos.
Both models boast excellent battery life thanks to a 4000mAh battery and Quick Charge technology, which lets you charge them in just 15 minutes! If you need to spend long days out and about using your 4G for videos, games, and more, you’re all set! As soon as you notice your battery running low, just 10 minutes of charging and you’re good to go again. A must-have for anyone who can’t afford to have a small battery.
BothChinese phones run Android 7.0 Nougat, which brings numerous improvements, including Doze mode while on the go, which helps extend battery life. There’s no pre-installed UI overlay, so you can keep a stock Android experience or install an alternative ROM for free to customize your Android experience.
This is a very interesting phone, offering performance and battery life worthy of a mid-range smartphone, and it holds its own against the competition. At an affordable price, this Chinese smartphone has everything going for it on paper!
